Ulla Johansson holds a Ph.D. in business administration from Lund University, where she also studied architecture. She is director of the Business & Design program within Gothenburg Research Institute and also holds a position at Växjö University. She recently published a book evaluating the Swedish government’s design initiative with over 500 projects in small businesses and public organizations. “ Dynamiska möten för strategisk utveckling” co-authored with Lisbeth Svengren will be published in 2006. Her other publications are in the areas of gender, irony, and the concepts of responsibility and empowerment.
